My course

LEMA

The course we are studying since last year is called Design of mechanical production. The course is taking part in Maristak, in Durango.

We need to be focused in every class we take, this way we will follow the course in an easier way. You have to get a Medium Grade degree or Bachiller degree first, then you can sign up on this course.

Now we are in second course, so we have different subjects.

Last year we studied physics, different machines in the work-shop, technical drawing, pneumatics and hydraulics.

This year we are studying metrology, CATIA, die design...

Apart from the "erronka"s we are taking a special work with 2º CMM students, we will work together, we will design the die and they will produce it with our planes.

In Maristak we study by ETHAZI metodology, which means, working in groups and with different challenges. Also we do exams individually.

Teachers will evaluate us, looking at our work in group, communication, the book we will deliver a book about how to design a die. Also the exams will be important in our califications.

During the course we will learn different types of dies, using CATIA, learn to the tridimensional machine... and more things we will be uploading to the blog weekly.

In Maristak we have lot of sources to learn, we use Moodle, where teachers upload information so we use to learn, we also use the internet or books. When we have a doubt, the teacher always help us.

Most importantly we must be focused during the classes, so we don´t lose anything. We also have to be able to draw in isometric view. We must have knowledge about dies.

As a group, we expect to get good marks, but also getting lot of knowledge about dies etc, this way we will be useful in the place we will be working.

The final product should be a die, which works well and this way we get the piece we want to produce.
